Hospice care from Los Angeles to San Bernardino
The philosophy of Hospice is to provide the terminally ill patient and his or her family and friends supportive and loving care, in tranquil surroundings, and the wherewithal to live fully and comfortably for as long as possible. Our assisted living services reach those in the Los Angeles County and the San Bernardino County. We help each patient become accustomed to a simpler and care free lifestyle.
With our help, our patients are then permitted to pass away naturally and with dignity when their time comes.
Serenity Hospice Care seeks to alleviate emotional and spiritual pain, and to control the accompanying symptoms. While it may be futile to pursue aggressive treatments or surgery, hospice can provide attention, friendship, care and love. With appropriate intervention and utilization of the multitude of resources that are available for palliation and pain control, the last months, weeks and days of an individual's life can have quality.
This also provides loved ones with lasting memories of their final special moments.
Our supportive staff is there for you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We customize our services to meet the needs of the patient: as much or as little services as needed.

Your primary care physician or doctor may choose to monitor your care, however, we can provide doctors and physician services if they are unable to do so. We have social workers that offer counseling and resources for community services. Our spiritual counselors provide spiritual support, if needed. We also have several volunteers that provide assistance through visits, letter writing, reading, and even shopping. Most of our medications and medical equipment is provided through the hospice.
We start with an assessment and an explanation of our hospice benefits. A nurse will then visit the patient and family at home or in the hospital. We then determine if you will qualify for our program. We will contact the patient's physician for approval. Our services will be started immediately if approved. Serenity Hospice Care services doesn't end with the death of the patient, our caring bereavement staff will continue to provide support to surviving family members and loved ones through counseling and community-based grief support groups.
